4Pins, hooks, eyes and as supports for the tungsten filaments in traditional incandescent lamps, Mandrel wire in the production of single and double coils of tungsten wire, Molybdenum glass-sealing ribbon or ESS ribbon is particularly suitable for sealing into quartz for low-pressure as well as high-pressure mercury lamps and halogen lamps，Shields for dimming of the car halogen headlight lamps，HT-molybdenum wire used as support wire in car and motorcycle headlight lamps.
4Molybdenum wire and in particular molybdenum pins with ground-surface used for vacuum-tight connections through borosilicate glass. Grids subjected to great thermal stresses are made of molybdenum wire. Gold-plated molybdenum wires used to improve electron emission-behavior. Anodes, auxiliary electrodes, cathode supports and other structural parts for emitter tubes, short wave tetrodes, high power tetrodes, etc. are also made of molybdenum. Mo ribbons for the end hat and Mo wire for pins of microwave magnetrons.
4Because molybdenum has about the same thermal expansion as silicon, it has found applications in transistors and semiconductor elements. Molybdenum discs and rings are used as contacts on the cathode side.
